What Is Flake, and Why Full Broadcast Matters
Vinyl flake (also called chip) is broadcast into the wet polyaspartic base coat until the surface is completely covered — "to refusal." The flake layer:
- Creates the signature granite/terrazzo look
- Adds thickness and impact resistance
- Hides concrete repairs and imperfections completely
- Provides subtle slip resistance

Tuxedo — the modern classic
Black, white, and grey in a crisp, high-contrast blend. Tuxedo reads modern and intentional — perfect with contemporary architecture, black garage doors, and anyone who wants the "showroom" look. Its mid-grey average tone is excellent at hiding desert dust between cleanings.
Dakota Grey — the versatile neutral
Layered greys with subtle charcoal. The most forgiving blend in the lineup: it complements literally every house color and makes the space feel bigger and brighter. Our most-installed color in Gilbert and Chandler.
Granite — the warm earth tone

Quartzite — the light, bright neutral
Creams, light greys, and soft tans. Quartzite maximizes light reflection — a real benefit in a garage you use as a gym or workshop — and stays visually cooler in summer.
Coastal Blue — the statement neutral
Blue-grey with charcoal undertones. Sophisticated, slightly unexpected, and stunning under LED lighting. A favorite for car-enthusiast garages in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.
Maui Blue — the bold one
Brighter blues with white and grey. Maui Blue turns the garage into a feature, not an afterthought. Popular for pool-adjacent garages and homeowners who want guests to say "whoa."
Blue Granite — the best of both
Granite's natural stone texture with cool blue-grey tones replacing the browns. Modern, calm, and excellent at hiding both dust and tire dressing marks.
How to Choose: 4 Practical Questions
- What color is your garage interior and door? Mid-tone flakes (Dakota Grey, Granite) harmonize with almost anything; high-contrast blends (Tuxedo) want a cleaner, more modern envelope.
- How do you use the garage? Gym or workshop → lighter blends (Quartzite) for light reflection. Daily-driver parking → mid-tones hide tire marks best.
- How often will you clean? All flake floors clean with a dust mop and occasional rinse, but tan-and-grey blends visually hide Arizona dust the longest between cleanings.
